About the Job:
Totally Raw Pet Food is hiring a Full-Time Machanical/HVAC Technician.
This position is looking for an individual with formal HVAC training and experience and strong electrical/mechanical knowledge applicable to Industrial Food Equipment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial Food Equipment and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on Industrial Food Equipment, Refrigeration, HVAC, Ventilation, and Climate Control Equipment.
- Service and maintain walk-in freezers, compressors, blast freezers, climate-controlled production rooms, and rooftop HVAC units.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to maximize efficiency and reliability.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete service documentation.
- Coordinate with production staff and outside service contractors as required.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with food safety regulations and company safety standards.
Job Requirements:
- Post-secondary education with a diploma in Refrigeration, Mechanical or Electrical, HVAC specialty or related trade is required.
- Experience servicing commercial or industrial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Gmail and Microsoft Office.
- Well-organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Experience working in a food manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
